About Us
The Addictive Sketchers Movement was founded by Adebanji Alade with a bold and inspiring vision: to build a worldwide community of artists who can sketch anything they see, anywhere, at any time.
At its heart, the movement is about freeing people from the fear of getting it wrong, from overthinking, and from the idea that art is only for the “talented few.”
His mission is to empower 500,000 Addictive Sketchers across the globe, individuals who confidently pick up their sketchbooks and capture life as it happens, whether on a busy street, a quiet train ride, or in the comfort of their homes.
To support this vision, Adebanji also created an online sketching school (The Addictive Sketchers Movement) designed to help artists develop accuracy, confidence, and consistency in their sketching. The school has grown into a global community, bringing together like-minded individuals who share a passion for drawing and a desire to improve.
